Our spring schedule has gotten a lot busier since soccer started & honestly I just haven't been organized enough to put a post together in two whole weeks!! Spring soccer, especially through April & early May is usually pretty wet & miserable:( This weekends games were both played under cloudy skies & lots of wind. Poor Jack, had a game Sat. afternoon in 40 degree weather with 40 mph wind gust.. it's amazing the dedication they have to go out there & play. I just want to stay home under a warm blanket with a cup of tea. They both played really well & Pegasus finally got a win!!! 5-2!! We so needed that. I wish John couldve been there to see it. He spent the weekend @ Methodist visiting with his old teammates. His team won their championship..not bad for a bunch of 30 somethings. :) We're glad he's home!
Maddie also started working on a performance planned for this summer of Alice in Wonderland. She meets once a week & gets to dress up & play the part..just what she enjoys. So I thought it was funny today when Jack & Maddie pulled out Grandpa D's old croquet set & played in the yard... minus the costumes of course:)
