This weekend we visited two very cool places that I was excited to find & explore.
Stratford Ecological Center http://www.stratfordecologicalcenter.org/.. a privately owned state nature preserve in Delaware (north of Dublin). It was beautiful, quiet (except for the rooster crowing & goats..hmmm what do they say exactly BAAAA). We are definately going back again when it's not raining & walk around, see the animals & pick some vegs...signed up for the family farm chores in October. Love for Jack to take a camp there next summer. Great plac eto get involved with.
Onto the Ohio Craft Museum http://www.ohiocraft.org/exhibitions.html (which we stumbled on) looking for furniture shops. It was the opening day for "Second Nature" a recycled art show. Jack was beside himself when he got to make an art project with bottle caps. We collect them & have SOOO many that we aren't sure what to do with. We learned they take donations!!
