Who knew there was a whole group of personalities waiting for us to discover written by Roger Hargreaves. On vacation we stumbled onto a sweet little bookstore...the kind that lures you in & time stops while you browse. Before we even got through the front door, Jack spotted these cute little character books on the outside display. I recognized them because we have a few tucked on a bookshelf from my classroom stash...somehow forgotten about. Jack was SOO excited & he ended up convincing us to buy 3 of them, Mr. Tickle, Mr. Daydream & Mr. Happy. Looks like most of them were written in the 70s & 80s. We are loving them. I tried to find more at the library today, but none were on the shelves. I reserved the few that they had online. OMG! That's something I haven't seen since I was a little kid. I used to love those books too. Thanks for the happy memory!
