I was coming down the stairs yesterday & saw this little guy hanging out on my snowy roof. He had found a dry spot to stop..his nose so pink, got my thinking about how those cute little guys survive such cold winters. I imagined a squirrel family waiting back home similar to those bunnies in Beatrix Potter's tales...all waiting for dad's return with a full tummy & some treats for their winter hibernation.
