Last Day

Gone are the days with my 1/2 day kindergartener & 3rd grader!! I have three months to enjoy my babies all day:) I still can't believe Jack's 9!!!

Maybe it was the running between two fields..just a few miles apart, with lots of cars in between..but I'm pooped. Lots of sun today & blue skies. The kids played hard & they love the sport that their daddy loves so much. One or maybe two more games tomorrow. Hoping for more blue skies:)

The Burrow

Thanks Aunt Robin & Uncle Rex. Jack & Maddie were up at 7am to finish what they started yesterday:) The Weasley's place is pretty cool esp if you have a birthday MONDAY!!!

Rolling Around in Pink..

The whole fascination with pink goes right over my head. I try to remember if I went through a "pink phase" as a child, & nothing comes to mind. But my Maddie loves pink anything.. And now that she has mastered the two wheeled bike, she needed a bigger size. Jack's old bike was just waiting for someone to climb on & take it for a spin again. However, the color just wasn't acceptable!! Thanks to a friend's idea of spray-painting it, it's now like a brand new bike & I bet you can guess what color it is:) Loving our bike rides together. even as I watch her speed ahead, I remember how I am trained to take wide turns since I'm use to having a trailer behind me..those days are gone! 6 is fast & fun!!

Remembering

15 years it's been today since my dad died. I feel him with me everyday when I look at my kids & our lives, I know he lives on in us. I'd love to see his smile just one more time or hear his laugh. I'd love to sit with him & just sit. I miss you Daddy.

Jack's Weaving

Jack's artwork was chosen to be framed & displayed at his school until he graduates..that is till middle school. Then we get to bring it home:) How cool. He was so excited about this since the weaving project that was selected was one of his favorite art activities they did this year. John made him a little weave board for home & he made a mini-rug:) for his teacher. Here's the framed weaving that's at his school.

Lots of painting going on around here. I have a slight buzz from all the fumes...or is that a mild headache:( Can't wait to have my house back to normal!
Color choices.. Pittsburgh Paint: summer suede(most of the downstairs)..minus the dining room, an apple a day (kitchen), plus the doors in white:)
